Note to Self

Sat 8:21pm (August 7)

Sometimes, no matter how well you prepare

And no matter how many alternative plans you put in place

Things tend to happen that you can't control

And you either have to start all over

Or just be patient (if there's been a delay you didn't see coming)

In the event you have to be patient 

It gets hard (especially unplanned patience, due to unforeseen circumstances)

Truth is, being patient can be harder than starting all over

1-hour can seem like a full day

1 day can seem like 1 week

And 1 week can seem like 1 month

Then 1 month, several months

Almost everything becomes annoying ... as it is now.. as your plans have been slightly delayed by circumstances outside your control

But in hindsight,

This sort of delay is usually for the better

Soon, the delay is over and you'll forget this ever happened

For now, maybe it helps to distract yourself a little?

Or just do whatever makes you feel good?

And if you can't find any interesting distraction:

Or something that makes you feel better

Or lift your spirits...

You don't have to do anything.

You've done your best

Rest easy knowing the universe is taking care of the rest.
