How to Promote Yourself Online

I want to show you how to promote yourself online,

Here's an important point to start with before we get into the meat of the matter (I don't even know what that means)

Sometimes, when a client comes to me for consultation

And I'm telling them what they're doing wrong...

And what they can do to get results fast.

I hear stuff like;

"Sounds great, but that's not how we do it"

Yea right,

If that were how you and your marketing team did it, I wouldn't be here

Now you have to listen to what I'm telling you works.

9 in 10 listen and get results.

I never hear from the other 1% who are too woke to try out the down and dirty marketing strategies that have brought in millions for me and my clients.

A little digression before I tell you how to promote yourself online,

For some reason that's not yet clear to me...

I woke up this morning singing a song by DeNattergale,

Long time ago in Bethlehem

So the Holy Bible says
Mary boy child, Jesus Christ
Was born on Christmas day

Listen hear the angels sing
A new king is born today
And man will live forever more
Because of Christmas day . . .

Brings back nostalgic feelings of how we all looked forward to Christmas back then growing up in Ibusa, Delta State.

The harmattan breeze, the games, the food, watching movies together as a family...

Nna mehn, those were the days....

Anyway here's how to promote yourself online...

Number 1:

It's a game of value.

You should have a digital footprint of value.

From Facebook, to Twitter, to Instagram, to LinkedIn....

There should be a consistent trail of valuable content that demonstrates to people that you're good at what you do...

If you look me up on Twitter and LinkedIn, even on my website,

You'll notice one thing.

This guy is good at Copywriting and Marketing.

He sure knows what he's talking about.

Number 2:

When promoting your services,

Ensure that you come from the angle of "The desired outcome"

Your Clients don't care if you're a badass Copywriter ever liveth or if you're the greatest thing since Gary Halbert.

What they do care about:

Is that you understand their problems and how to fix it without guessing.

or, that you know exactly how to help them get the results they seek.

So instead of saying "I can write copy for you"

How about....

"What I'll share with you is very often the difference between 2 sales a week and 10 new sales every day"

Then you go ahead and explain The What of the process (With real life case studies of successful stories...)

Not The How.

With a closing line that says...

"If you need help, Let me know and we can talk"

There's a few other ways to promote yourself online.

Maybe I'll explain some to you later.

Stay frosty.

A.

P.S: You're closer than you think.... Don't give up.
